Stari Grad on the Island of Hvar

IMG_1115Kristen and I hopped from the island of Vis to the island of Hvar on a series of ferries.

In Stari Grad, the main city on Hvar, we found some lunch.

IMG_1120Yachts and pleasure boats line the harbor in Stari Grad.  This is a big party place and the wealthy love to come play here.

After an excellent meal, we were relaxing in our room when we heard a beautiful two-part harmony aria drifting up from the street below. The son of the hotel’s owner was sitting on the front steps singing with one of his friends. It was an absolutely perfect way to end the day on Hvar.
