Heather and I went to watch our first Olde Golden Christmas parade in downtown Golden on Washington Street. There were several groups of dog owners in the parade.
Elvis in a t-top Corvette Stingray.
Santa driving an old BMW with a side car.
Bagpipers playing Christmas carols.
A chiropractor had all his friends and family dressed up as vertebra to form a spine. In front of the spine they had a reindeer made out of an old International Scout.
A chicken and cow farm car.
The Grinch in an old avocado green mustang.
Some classic hotrods.
The Colorado Star Wars Fan Group.
A penny farthing rider.
And another one.
One of the local 4×4 Jeep companies.
The old Golden Fire Department engine and the end of the parade.
Nothing like a quaint small hometown parade. Awesome.
I wonder if they have a similar parade for 4th of July!
