Southwest Oregon February 2013

Over a long three day weekend, Heather and I went south and west from our home base in Corvallis to visit Southwest Oregon and the very far northwest tip of California. Along the way, we visited vast stands of redwoods, Crater Lake National Park, old gold and logging towns, lonesome back roads in the national forests, historic frontier towns, Oregon Caves National Monument, and everything in between.  The Southwest Oregon guidebook produced by Steve Arndt’s Roads Less Traveled in Oregon series guided us on an epic adventure that the German engineers who designed Heather’s Audi could never have imagined.

In order to follow along on our adventure, one can either use the map at the top of this page to navigate to individual posts based upon geographical data, go to the first post in the series and move forward in time post-by-post, or go the categorical list of all of the posts and travel backwards in time.  The choice is yours!  The adventure is ours!  And now we are sharing it with you!
