The Central Australian Air Museum is an interesting collection of locally famous aircraft from the golden days of aviation in the outback. This is an old weather radar dish. Considering it’s usually sunny and hot, I’m not sure what need the Alice Springs airport has for weather radar.
The old Connellan Airways hangar serves as home to the museum.
