The town of Silverton hosts several interesting attractions including the Oregon Gardens and a Frank Lloyd Wright house. Heather and I visited both to see the sights. The lily pad ponds at the gardens are fun and whimsical.
I remember this part of the gardens being barren when I first visited in middle school. Now the trees have grown in and the water shade garden is gorgeous. Weddings and receptions often happen here.

The Frank Lloyd Wright house at the edge of the gardens. This building was moved here from elsewhere.
The design wasn’t the most practical for Oregon but the building is stunning.
