Edgar Experimental Mine 150th Birthday

IMG_1802Edgar Experimental Mine celebrated its 150th birthday this weekend.  Several burros were on hand along with some old grizzled miners for the momentous occasion.

  1. OK. We got nothing this cool here in Atlanta. This is pretty awesome Uncle Doug. Amazing a diesel locomotive could be used in those close quarters. Sweet.

    1. Yeah the diesel locomotive is pretty neat! It’s vintage from the 40s. The mine has enough air circulation that they can run the little diesel engine on that thing and not have any problems.
