Both Poofy and Sunny are falling into a routine in Monterey while the Creek Fire continues to burn. It’s looking like even after we’re allowed back in to Forked Meadow (so far the fire has gotten to within three or four miles but hasn’t burned any closer), Poofy may stay in Monterey to give my parents a break. She is demanding of lots of attention which they don’t have the time to give at the moment.
