Providence Creek Headwaters Catchments and around

The big experiment up the hill from us is interesting to walk through. The Providence Creek Headwaters Catchment is a big, multi-year experiment that will hopefully run for decades into the future. It’s really interesting seeing all of the instruments, the transect routes, and whatnot up on the hill behind my parents place.

Placid water in the Monterey harbor

The water was placid in the Monterey harbor when we went for a walk this evening. And the waxing gibbous moon was quite pretty this evening.

Out at Asilomar

We went out for a walk today at Asilomar to check out the beach and get some sun. Finally! Monterey’s summer has come!
