The Naked PC800 turns into a real rat rod under Drew’s expert hand

IMG_1578

After languishing in my garage for the past year, Drew bought the Naked PC800 and promptly started ratting it out.  First to go was the instrument cluster, headlight, and rear seat.  Next was the exhaust system.  This is a video of the first time we started the bike after stripping it down to the bare essentials.  In the future Drew will put a nice sport bike muffler on it and make a new half fairing for the bike.  This PC800 will rise like a phoenix from the naked ashes to create something new and amazing.

Check out this awesome video of the first time we fired up the bike after we removed the whole exhaust system.  It sounds AWESOME!  I can’t wait to see what Drew does to the PC800 next.

Soap Creek Valley on a Motorcycle

Heather and I went on a motorcycle ride around the valley.  We stopped briefly in the Soap Creek Valley for some photos and to wait for some rain to pass.

My antique Yamaha XS1100 was loving being woken up from its winter slumber.

Here are some miscellaneous motorcycle photos from the last few months.  Above: the XS850.

Mileage at second fill-up for the XS1100.  Subtract 98.4 miles from this and you get the mileage I started at.
