2013 IDETC/CIE Conference Cruise on the Willamette

At the 2013 IDETC/CIE conference there was a DTM party cruise on the Willamette River to celebrate 25 years of DTM.

2013 da Vinci Days Kinetic Sculpture Race

Heather and I spent a day at the da Vinci Days Festival in Corvallis. The Kinetic Sculpture Race was on.

Lots of odd contraptions.

We relocated to the sand hill obstacle out by the county fairgrounds.

Waterfalls Loop Trail along the McKenzie River

After diving at Clear Lake, Heather and I visited a couple waterfalls along the McKenzie River. This is Sahalie Falls.

A video of a really neat cascade that is nearly a waterfall in its own right.

It is amazing watching the air bubbles de-gas. The water goes from milky white to crystal clear so fast.

At the top of Koosha Falls. This would not be a good place to fall into the river.
