The last few days have been just wonderful at Forked Meadow. I’m house sitting again while my parents are gone and working remotely.
Cutting down a dead tree at Camp El-O-Win
My dad and I went over to Camp El-O-Win today to cut down a dead tree that was threatening the spring box that supplies water to the camp. This tree died in the drought a year or two back. We cut it down and got it out of the way so the camp doesn’t have to worry about the spring box getting crushed in the future.
Spring at Forked Meadow
It’s lovely to work remote from Forked Meadow on occasion. Spring is finally here at 6000ft above sea level.
After over a year of not being able to see my parents in person, now that I’m fully vaccinated we can finally see each other. It was good timing because it was time to put the summer tracks on the bobcat.
