Doberman Love

IMG_4281

My aunt’s two dobermans are awesome dogs.  They’re super loving and definitely velcro puppies.  This is Ares who is getting old and has a heart condition.  He came from the doberman rescue group in Colorado.

This is Traveler.  He also came from the doberman rescue.  He’s younger and full of energy.

They love playing with each other.

They also love getting petted.

And they want whatever the other dog is getting!

Piñon Mesa and Into Utah

We headed up Piñon Mesa to check out the view and look for elk.  This is looking back down into Glade Park.

Later we headed toward Utah to look for the Dolores River and the crossing across the river.  We didn’t find access to the river but we did find a lot of great roads.

Sunset at Sunset Ranch

The sunsets at my aunt’s place outside of Grand Junction are amazing.  The sun goes down, blazing in the west over Utah every night.  There’s a reason that my aunt calls this place Sunset Ranch.
