Nederland Mining Museum

This big old steam shovel worked on the Panama Canal before somehow ending up in Colorado.

Nederland

Driving into Nederland, we saw this behemoth jacked up Jeep Cherokee running what appears to be tractor tires parked on the side of the road.  Is that even close to street legal in Colorado?

Some train cars and a caboose were brought up to Netherland at some point in the past to make a diner.
