I took a few minutes away from the conference for lunch near old town and saw some horses lined up along the street waiting to take people around the city.

The Palais des congrès de Montréal is a beautiful building to hold a conference within. I had the luck to attend the 2014 ASME IMECE conference here.
Throughout most of the week it was snowing in Montreal.
