I used to have a 1984 Honda Shadow VT700C. When I bought it, it had around 25,000 miles on it. I sold it a few thousand miles later when I had to relocate for the summer. My current bikes include a 1989 Honda Pacific Coast PC800 named The TARDIS, and a 1979 Yamaha XS1100 Special (still un-named). In between I also had a 1979 Honda XL500S named The Gangly Giraffe, a 1980 Yamaha XS850 that I never named, and another 1989 Honda Pacific Coast PC800 originally named the Nekked PC but then provisionally named HBM (Honey Badger Motorcycle). My PC800 might look like a big piece of tupperwear driving down the road but they sure is a blast to drive! I am also compiling a list of useful links and information for the PC800.
- Riding Log: I try to catalog all of my rides here. Sometimes I don’t get around to it but most of the time I mark down the routes I ride.
- Covered Bridges of Oregon: I am taking photos of every covered bridge in Oregon with my motorcycle in front of it. There are a total of 51. Follow along as I try to find them all!
- Service and Maintenance Log: Just what it sounds like. All of the things I do to keep my PC running plus all of the mods and farkles that I add to the bike.
- PC800 Fuel Injection Conversion: An in-process project to convert the PC800 from using carburetters to having fuel injection.
- PC800 Auxiliary Fuel Tank: An ongoing project to add auxiliary fuel tanks to the PC800.
