The Oregon Beta chapter of Phi Delta Theta hired me on as the house dad for the 2009-2010 school year. I returned for the 2010-2011 year, the 2011-2012 year, and the 2012-2013 year until I left Corvallis. Some of the adventures I had while I was house dad are posted below.
My service to Phi Delta Theta Oregon Beta culminated in becoming a Brother in the Bond. I am an alumni of Oregon Beta now but I am still somewhat active in the alumni network and recently I started working with the California Omega colony at Santa Clara University.
- Greek Fire Academy: Paul, Shawn, and I attended the Greek Fire Academy to learn proper fire safety. We got to watch a dorm room get torched in the name of education!
- New Apartment: As part of my job I get a sweet apartment!
- Phi Kappa Psi Burns: The abandoned house next door caught on fire. The men of my house had a wonderful time watching the fire fighters chainsaw through a door.
- The Kitchen After a Hard Weekend: After a hard weekend in the house the kitchen can be quite the mess.
- A House Moves Down the Street: A house moved down the street the other day. Turns out I used to date someone who lived there.
- 2010 Greek Fire Academy: Several of us attended the Greek Fire Academy for 2010.
- Like a Cat Who Brings Trophies Home to its Master: A thong showed up on my doorstep the other day.
