Newberg motorcycle run

This afternoon I went up to Newberg and back on my new bike. The windscreen is GREAT. I got just a touch cold coming back but nowhere near as frigid as I used to get on the old Shadow that had no screen. When I got off the bike at my parent’s house I wasn’t sore at all. The only thing that could be improved is the diameter of the grip. My right hand was a bit sore from holding the throttle the whole way.

In total I did about 125 miles. I also bought gas at the Chevron in Newberg. Currently I’m feeding it premium but I might be bumping it down to Extra or even Regular soon. No need for fancy gas if there isn’t a reason to burn it.

DMV ride

Yesterday I took my motorcycle out for a quick jaunt around town. It took me a while to find the DMV but I made it just in time to get the bike’s paperwork processed. I also stopped at AAA for some maps of the American West. Hopefully over winter break I will be using those maps to pilot my tupperwear guppy to the warmth of the southwest.

Welcome home 1989 Honda Pacific Coast PC800!

Tonight I finalized the purchase of my brand new (to me, thanks Ryan S!) 1989 Honda Pacific Coast PC800. It’s the white tupperwear stormtrooper bike of awesomeness! Tomorrow hopefully I’ll have the time to take it out for a quick jaunt around town. Since it was dark when I picked it up I didn’t have the chance to get a photo but soon I’ll post one.

SO MUCH FUN TO DRIVE! Only 6 miles though on the way home. 🙂
