Here are some photos of Poofy and Oliver coexisting (or not!) during September. I also slipped in a few photos of some illustrations my great aunt made of cats. Those illustrations are now hanging on one of our walls. They do bear a resemblance to Poofy and Oliver!
We went for a hike out in Elkhorn Slough before grabbing some food in Moss Landing and then checking out the other end of Elkhorn Slough close to Highway 1. It’s a really pretty and dynamic environment that is slowly healing after a couple centuries of human damage.
The sea lions are really piling up along the Fisherman’s Warf beaches. We walked along the water and saw all the sea lions on our way to check out a Coast Guard helicopter that landed at Breakwater (San Carlos Beach) for an open house event.
