The meadows are hoping these thunderheads that keep teasing us finally will come a little west and give us some rain. It’s been a long time since the last rain. The weather station registered a lightning strike 17 miles away today. Hopefully that doesn’t start any fires.
The garden has been extremely productive this year which is pretty good considering that we’re at 6,000 feet above sea level.
The meadows remain gorgeous. Yet another thunderstorm to the east developed today with yet another disappointingly sunny day. Maybe we’ll get rain tomorrow.
It was another beautiful summer day at Forked Meadow today. Great temperature, some clouds but no rain, everything is as green as it’ll get this year.
Poofy loves relaxing on the front porch watching the bugs zip around the meadow.
