Heather and I went down to Big Sur to start the new year with a hike up the trail to Valley View out of Pfeiffer Big Sur State Park. The view from up there is great of the Big Sur valley.

A nice day for a walk around Monterey. I walked by Breakwater and down to the seal beach by Hopkins Marine Station.
Snow, clouds and sky
As the sun started to come up, the view out into the meadows was absolutely gorgeous with the latest dusting of snow.
