Middle St. Vrain and Coney Flats

After doing the Mega Magnolia Transect yesterday, today I went along with other Rising Sun 4×4 Club members on a trail run of Middle St. Vrain and Coney Flats outside of Boulder.  This trail was rough the whole way through and a LOT of fun.  My little stock 4runner handled it admirably.  I feel like I’ve really learned quite a bit this summer to be able to tackle this trail with only needing spotting a couple times.

IMG_2165-editIt was shallow enough when I crossed that it didn’t go over the sill of my doors (no water in the cab!  yay!).

IMG_2166-editSometimes this can be very deep.
