Drew’s PC Reconstruction – Day 3

PCDay3_2

Drew is rebuilding the Nekkid PC into something beautiful.  In Day 3 he welded up a completely new exhaust system from the headers back.  It now has a Vance and Hines SS2R Muffler. Four slip joints were used to put the muffler on the bike. The exhaust routing goes up and over the center stand cross/brace area.  The center stand was removed from the bike because Drew doesn’t want or need it.

Another view of the routing.

This is a serious exhaust system!  It’s going to sound amazing.

Drew’s PC Reconstruction – Day 1

Drew is in the process of modifying the Nekkid PC800 that I sold him into some sort of Franken-PC.  I’m not sure if he has a name for it yet other than calling it badass.  This first picture shows the Daytona bars that he installed.

Here is another view.  The bike looks pretty good with those bars.

This is a mockup of the headlight assembly he is making.  Note that he decided to keep the twin Mercedes car horns.  Good choice!

The Naked PC800 turns into a real rat rod under Drew’s expert hand

After languishing in my garage for the past year, Drew bought the Naked PC800 and promptly started ratting it out.  First to go was the instrument cluster, headlight, and rear seat.  Next was the exhaust system.  This is a video of the first time we started the bike after stripping it down to the bare essentials.  In the future Drew will put a nice sport bike muffler on it and make a new half fairing for the bike.  This PC800 will rise like a phoenix from the naked ashes to create something new and amazing.

Check out this awesome video of the first time we fired up the bike after we removed the whole exhaust system.  It sounds AWESOME!  I can’t wait to see what Drew does to the PC800 next.
