The pretty valley that winds its way to Hereford is not to be missed. The green fields are in stark contrast to the brown hills with a light dusting of trees.
Unity Reservoir
The water was rather low when we passed by the Unity Reservoir.
No boats are getting in here.
Unity
Scenery changes quickly in eastern Oregon. One minute you’re in the forest and the next you’re out in the sagebrush. This is on the road to Unity.
The town of Unity is at a small crossroads. It was once a mill town. Now I’m not really sure what keeps it in business.
The Forest Service seems to still have a facility here. It’s a long way to any trees though.
