 A small waterfall.

Tree ferns on an old rotting log.

Snow on the Farm

When I visited the farm the other day, I found snow on the ground and more falling from the sky.

 Big fluffy flakes!

The flowers emerged a little too early.

It wasn’t much snow but it did make everything very pretty.

Sandfell

I visited the abandoned farm of Sandfell.  The outlines of some buildings, a tree, and the old cemetery are left.  It was only abandoned in 1945 after more than 700 years of occupation.

IMG_0478 Much of the farmland has been over-topped with glacial out-wash over the centuries.
