Flying North to Canada

I had a window seat on my way north from San Francisco to Vancouver.  My itinerary took me via Canada to get to France for a work trip.

Flying over Portland, Oregon.

Somewhere south of Seattle.  Funny-looking lakes.

I think that might be Tacoma?

Looking toward the Olympic Peninsula and the Hood Canal where I did a lot of scuba diving over the years.

All the islands out in the Puget Sound.

Crossing into Canada.  Land on the far left in this photo is on a peninsula and is part of the USA.  Land on the right is in Canada.  Crazy!

Coming in for a landing in Vancouver with the big mountains toward Whistler on the horizon.

Flying Back to Singapore

After a day or so in Malaysia and Brunei, we hopped back on a flight and went back to Singapore for the next week’s work activities.

One last look at Miri.

Morning clouds will turn into afternoon showers.

All of the cargo ships waiting off the coast of Singapore.

Lots of boats on the approach to the airport.

One of the residential districts of Singapore.

Pulling into the budget airline terminal.

Flying to Los Angeles

On my way to Singapore for work, I took a few pictures out the plane window flying from Monterey to Los Angeles.  Down there somewhere is my house.

We go diving along that coastline.

We go diving out there, too.

Sunrise somewhere along the way.

Coming into Los Angeles, the City of Freeways.

A few skyscrapers.

Big freeway interchange.

There were some HUGE planes at LAX.  Our little puddle jumper was dwarfed on the runway.
