The clouds keep teasing Forked Meadow with the potential of rain but nothing comes. It’s getting drier by the day. Hopefully rain will come soon because fire danger is starting to go up.

Beautiful Forked Meadow day complete with butterflies
From sunrise to sunset, today was really pretty. I found a couple of big bear tracks in the dust and a butterfly on the flowers out front.

Another day with clouds that tease rain but then don’t deliver at Forked Meadow. Some summers it’s like this but some summers we actually do get some rain.
