On the way back from a great trip up toward Argentine Pass, we stopped off to see the buffalo herd.
We then went over Lookout Mountain and spied an impressive storm out on the plains by Denver.
The Colorado School of Mines and Coors Brewing both look great with everything being green around them.
The clouds and rain around Denver stood in stark contrast to the spotlight of sunlight on the skyscrapers.

The other day I bought a 1988 Toyota 4runner DLX with 154,000 miles on the odometer. I am the third owner of this magnificent piece of Toyota engineering. The truck even came with a Softopper.
The body is remarkably rust-free aside from a little rust around the fenders.
No major dents or scrapes. The paint is generally in good shape.
Just look at how beautiful it is!
A summer full of adventure awaits!
On a fine Saturday morning in April, I decided to do the long hike down into Golden via Lookout Mountain. The route I took was about 12 miles total from start to finish.
Hiking up through Apex Park. The wildflowers were in bloom.
One of the new bridges installed after the flooding a few years back.
Still a few wisps of snow left around.
Up on top of Lookout Mountain. I wore my Vibram Five Fingers for this hike. My toes were a bit chilly from hiking through the snow drifts.

I encountered part of the local elk herd near the ditch at the top end of the old subdivision off 19th street.
Clear Creek in Golden was pretty high with snow melt.
