We visited Red Rocks and Golden in the snow. How beautiful!
A plume of steam on the horizon.
The Colorado School of Mines down in town.
Deer in the forest on Lookout Mountain.

I have some new furniture in my office. I installed some low book cases with a few drawers and cupboards on the north wall.
I also got a new couch and some tall book cases with doors.
The far left book case has display lights. As I unpack more of my things, I will put interesting objects inside to display. Right now, I have a student project in the bottom and a book about statistics in the middle display areas.
Matt and I took a tour of the Coors Brewing plant in Golden. It is quite the interesting factory.
Endless kettles.
Long rows of machines.
The process control room looks like a nuclear power plant control room.
Old bottles in the laboratory where the beer is tested.
Another view of the lab.
The railroad infrastructure through the middle of the factory.
Roasting the grain.
The bottom of huge tanks.
Another impossibly massive room with equipment stretching into the distance.
Bulkhead doors like those on containment structures in nuclear power plants.
The bottling lines. It was a fascinating tour!
