We grabbed some ice cream in Grand Lake after coming off Trail Ridge Road on our way back toward Golden.
The yacht club in Grand Lake never fails to disappoint. All of the sailboats were out on the water for the day.
Buffalo Barbecue and Parade
We were lucky enough to catch the Buffalo BBQ and Parade in Grand Lake on the weekend we were in town. The parade was quite the event.
The centennial of Rocky Mountain National Park was being celebrated by several park staff on a float.
The last block of the parade is the “splash zone” where a massive water fight rages between parade floats and the spectators.
A local bumper car place brought their carts out.
Ridiculous but in a good way.
