We headed down off of our mountain campsite toward Grand Lake.  The storm clouds were already building and threatening rain.  It was a rainy week in Grand Lake and while it was fun camping high up on the mountain, it wasn’t as fun trying to find dry wood in the soaking wet forest.

We woke up early to a beautiful morning.  The mountains above Grand Lake towered in the distance.

It was cold and wonderful.
