On the way to the Great American Beer Festival, I changed trains on the Denver light rail system next to a big Union Pacific Railroad engine yard. There must have been close to 100 big diesel locomotives idling in the yard.
Out side the Colorado Convention Center, there were all manner of beer trucks parked. The Left Hand Brewing Company uses a limo to transport beer.
The parking garage on this high rise has an interesting set of flapping metal squares. It creates a pixel effect when the wind blows.
Waiting in line to get into the beer hall. Becky had a spare ticket and invited me along to drink some good beer.

There were bagpipers playing as we all marched into the building to start tasting beer from around the USA.
In the main hall. There were thousands of beers available.
One of the breweries had a chapel setup and were in fact performing weddings. I’m pretty sure that we didn’t actually get married.
A roving band of bagpipers made trips through the various aisles.
There was a mobile barbershop setup in the hall. This is the “before” picture. I decided to get my beard trimmed.
And afterward. The mustache looks like I’m some sort of creeper.
