Grip Puppies Installation on a PC800

After some bad hand cramps from the grips on my Honda Pacific Coast I decided to grab a pair of Grip Puppies from California Sport Touring. For my bike with stock grips I went with the small size designed to fit 7/8″ grips.  The grips have been PERFECT since I installed those Grip Puppies.  No more hand cramps even on 200 mile rides.  I might not even need to pony up the money for a Cramp Buster now.

The package with the Grip Puppies.  Nothing too fancy.  Just a manila envelope, some paperwork and instructions, and the Grip Puppies.

The Grip Puppies on the throttle.  Note the bulge at the right end of the rubber.  That is where the grip proper ends and the handlebar weight starts.  I opted to not cut it down to size.  Now I have a nice area to put my hand to relax it in the event of a cramp.

The left side before I put it on.  It was a real rodeo to get it on the left grip for some reason.  I used hot soapy water to act as a lubricant and help get it on.  The instructions that came with the Grip Puppies recommended this method.

The finished product.  Never again will I have cramped hands from too-small grips!
