A big storm really hammered the Monterey Peninsula the last few days. Out in Pacific Grove and along Asilomar, the ocean came up onto the road and pushed towards houses, and onto the golf course. The city is working to push the sand off the roads and repair the damage. Out at Asilomar, many boulders were lifted up off the beach and thrown into the parking area. There was a lot of energy involved in making this happen!
Low tide in Monterey
We had a very low tide today in Monterey. Lots of rocks were exposed that we haven’t seen since the last very low tide.
December kitty shenanigans
Poofy and Oliver are keeping us busy in December! We’ve been letting Poofy wander around on the deck and by the house since she can’t move very fast. We’ve let Oliver out a few times with our supervision on a harness. But in general… shenanigans.
