We had a wonderful tree for the holidays in Monterey and I surrounded it with a big Lego train layout. What fun!

Atmospheric river in Monterey
We had a strong atmospheric river push through Monterey today that had a lot of rain and a bunch of wind. This is the first really strong storm we’ve had in several years. A bench even hit my car! And our propane heater blew over outside. We also lost power for several hours.
Nudibranch paint party
We went to a nudibranch paint party that The Green Directive hosted for Reef Renders. A bunch of our friends were there and it was a very good time. Heather painted a cool Spanish Shawl nudibranch while I painted a clown nudibranch. Heather also wore her nudibranch earrings to the party.
