On my way south toward the ring road, I ran into this interesting complex of greenhouses in the middle of nowhere. It is as if aliens landed in the middle of nowhere and set up shop.
Húsavik
The town of Húsavik is in the far north of Iceland. I drove up to check it out and see what there was to see. This impressive church commands a great view of the harbor.

Yes, this is the Phallus Museum. It was closed when I tried to visit. Perhaps another time.

Akureyri and the Fjord
The second largest city in Iceland is smaller than Corvallis. It is situated along a beautiful fjord.
