We visited the McKinley Sequoia Gigantia grove with Sean and Katie to see the big trees again. I never get tired of checking this place out.

Waiting in line for wrist bands for the first game of the 2013 Portland Timbers season, we watched a group of fans playing some soccer. One thing led to another, and the ball got stuck on top of the awning outside Jeld-Wen Field. Someone climbed up to get the ball down.

We sat in the 108th Easy Company of the Timbers Army. Well… we didn’t sit. We stood, cheered, and chanted for the whole game. Someone created a Porterland sign to welcome coach Caleb Porter.

Heather, Sean, Katie, and I went to the big Timbers vs Flounders match. We drove up very early in the morning to try and get wrist bands. As luck would have it, we got the last four wrist bands available!

The Timbers tied the Flounders 1-1. A few more games will have to be played to decide who will win the Cascadia Cup. Derby days will continue!
