Kotor

IMG_1513We arrived at Kotor to find a fascinating and well-preserved medieval and Venetian old town.  The walls and moat around the town saw many battles over the centuries.

Into Montenegro

IMG_1475

After an early pickup by a local travel company, Kristen and I headed south toward Montenegro along the sea south of Dubrovnik.  A big cruise ship and some large sailboats were anchored in the leeward side of the island.

Dubrovnik Day Two

IMG_1303Day two in Dubrovnik broke with a beautiful sun-filled morning.  We walked down the narrow alleys and stairs from our lodging into old town.

IMG_1307We headed up to the city walls of old town and did the entire circuit to see the sights.
