After a week in Seattle for work, I hopped on a plane and flew back to Monterey via SFO. There was a lot of good landmark spotting from the plane including the fault at Point Reyes.

Watching SCUBA training at Breakwater
There was some interesting training going on at Breakwater today for some SCUBA divers. A variety of entry and exit techniques were being practiced which we rarely see used around here. Also there were some really cute sea lion pups down toward the end of the Coast Guard jetty.
Car Show in Customs House Plaza
Some random car show was happening in the Customs House Plaza in downtown Monterey today. It’s crazy how we constantly have these amazing car shows with basically no notification to the locals before they show up. You never know what you’ll see when you wander down toward the waterfront.
