Yesterday I went for a quick ride while I was feeling okay (I’ve been sick off and on for the last week and continue to be) to test out different windshield configurations for my PC800. I’m thinking about getting a taller windshield or making or buying a laminar lip shield. Still haven’t decided but it was nice to ride with a taller windshield. Decisions decisions…
Total distance was about 25 miles. I went back and forth along one stretch of road testing out different shield heights several times.
Now my bike is in pieces again as I try to fix the front fork seals. Of course I managed to get a bushing stuck and now I have to wait till next Tuesday for a part I need.
Yesterday I went on a short ride on The Tardis. When I returned home I found that I had blown out one of my fork seals. The route was fun but now I know why I’ve been having some funny feelings with steering (squishy in the corners) the last few weeks. Parts are already on order.
Total distance was about 48 miles.
