As we were working on cleaning up the garden, we found a very friendly rubber boa snake. This little snake was a cutie.
Here’s our first bed planted with beets. There are a bunch of other beds still to go!
Portland Timbers vs Minnesota United
We went and attended the home opener of the Portland Timbers vs the Minnesota United at Providence Park with Sean and Katie.
PTFC won 5-1. What a great start to the season!

Beautiful Scenic Oceanside
We spent some time in Oceanside today.
The surf, the sand, the storm, and the sky were absolutely gorgeous.
It doesn’t get much more gorgeous than this in Oregon.
The sound of the surf across the rock cobbles is sublime.
Heather in the lava tube that connects the beach at Oceanside to the hidden beach on the other side of Maxwell Point.

Those beautiful rocks are part of the cluster off of Maxwell Point including Seal Rock, Shag Rock, Finley Rock, and Storm Rock. There are three arches out there, too.
The surf on the cobble beach is wonderful.
