Working on drysuit seals

Heather’s wrist seals have been giving her trouble so I decided it’s time to replace them. I went with an SI Tech system that promises to make it much easier to swap seals out as needed.

It turns out liter Nalgene bottles are the perfect size to do this work.

Watching SCUBA training at Breakwater

There was some interesting training going on at Breakwater today for some SCUBA divers. A variety of entry and exit techniques were being practiced which we rarely see used around here. Also there were some really cute sea lion pups down toward the end of the Coast Guard jetty.

400th dive

Today I finally did my 400th dive! I’ve been diving for over a decade but with some long breaks when we lived inland. Now let’s see how quickly I can get to 500 dives… Meanwhile I’m still thousands upon thousands of dives behind Heather.

400th dive!

We did my 400th dive at Breakwater in Monterey. This is one of if not the busiest dive site on the west coast.

I just wish I could go diving every day.
