Blue Basin

We went on a hike up Blue Basin.  The walls look somewhere between blue and green.  A recent rainstorm highlighted the green tint.  This pool of standing water is green from the wet mud below.

The earth is a strange blue-green color here.  Nothing grows on the colored ground.

This landscape reminds me of scenes out of StarWars.

Up in the middle of the basin.  There was a hipster couple also up there with photography equipment.  They seemed to be waiting for something.
