It is a bit hard to tell from the photograph, but I encountered the start of a blizzard on my way west on I-80 near Park City, Utah. There were quite a number of cars flipped off the road in the ditch to illustrate how slippery the conditions were.
Starvation Reservoir
I stopped off to look at the very frozen Starvation Reservoir. This part of Utah gets extremely cold in the winter.
Rabbit Ears Pass
The last pass on US 40 coming from the east before reaching Steamboat Springs is Rabbit Ears Pass. The view going up and over the mountains there is incredible.
