Warner Canyon Ski Resort
For many years I have noticed the Warner Canyon Ski Resort on the daily Oregon snow report. I knew it was somewhere in southeast Oregon but never spent the time to find it on a map. Imagine my surprise when we stumbled upon this one chair lift mountain just outside Lakeview!
They must not get too much snow here based upon how high the chair lift system can go.

While Zach did his best to pretend he wasn’t miserable while laying on the grass in a city park due to his illness, Heather and I explored the little town of Lakeview. The Safeway has a great custom sign. I’ve never seen another Safeway to have such a thing.
This is the park in which Zach and Vera took up residence for a period while Zach worked on feeling better. Alas, he did not feel better until late that night. Zach and Vera decided to stay in a hotel in Lakeview while Heather and I continued on to points unknown.
The Lakeview Burger Queen Drive-In has outstanding milkshakes.
The only movie theater in town closes on major holidays so that the employees can take a break.
