The Wagner House is now a little museum. If you call city hall, they will come let you in. Otherwise, it is open for a few hours every week on Sunday.

We drove past a still-working lumber mill with an old style tepee burner.
At one point in the past, the mill was served by a train. There aren’t any trains through here anymore.
We stopped outside Myrtle Point to visit a small myrtle grove. These trees were much more common before people realized that they make good cabinets and have beautiful wood.
