We went up to The Three Sisters Park outside of Evergreen to check out what people in this part of Colorado call The Three Sisters (we’re used to huge volcanoes being called by the same name out in Oregon). At the park we found spring in full swing with lush, green fields full of wildflowers.
This had all been an old ranch. The old access roads are now trails throughout the property.
It’s all so green and lush at this time of year.
Pretty meadow with aspen.
All of these flowers are just great!
Big mountains lurking in the distance.
Lots of rocks.
There are those big mountains. Clouds over the continental divide dumping snow on the west side but it was nice and clear here.
Clouds starting to come a little closer but we were still in the sun.
The Three Sisters.
