The last time I was in DC, I absolutely loved the botanical gardens. This time we didn’t have time to stop in and visit. Maybe next conference in DC I will have enough free time to say hello to the plants and wonderful aluminum architecture.

We walked past the monument to President Garfield on the way to the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum.
The Vietnam Veterans Memorial at Night
On our way back from the Lincoln Memorial, we passed through the Vietnam Veterans Memorial.
Lots of names on the wall. It’s interesting being here after having spent a little time in Vietnam last December.
