Around Seattle and the Seattle Spheres

My hotel has a great view of the Elephant Car Wash and the Space Needle is just around the corner. Most of those sky scrapers are Amazon buildings.

I went past Pikes Place Market on my way to a meeting at the Starbucks Support Center with the Reserve Roasters.

The Seattle Spheres that Amazon built sure are funky.

Flying to Seattle

After my abortive trip to Spain, my next trip was up to Seattle for work. Luckily this time the trip was smooth. It was an easy hop skip and jump from Monterey to Seattle through an intermediate city.

Flying back to California

Taking off from SeaTac outside Seattle was gorgeous in the late afternoon.

Looking down on the Puget Sound.

Lots of boats out and about.

I’m pretty sure that’s the bridge at Longview, Washington over the Columbia River.

There is still plenty of snow in the coast range of Northern California outside Redding.
Coming into San Francisco Bay.
Treasure Island, Angel Island, the Bay Bridge, Oakland, Alcatraz, and San Francisco all in one shot.
