Drop Bears in their Native Habitat

Leaving Cape Otway Lighthouse, the expedition was nearly attacked by a pack of ravenous drop bears!  These creatures are especially dangerous.  They look like ordinary koalas but in fact are vicious carnivores that fall out of the trees on the heads of unsuspecting bushwalkers in order to stun and kill their prey.

Just look at how vicious and cunning this creature is!

Other expeditions nearly were attacked until our expedition gave them warning of the aerial danger.

Cape Otway Lighthouse

The expedition reaches Cape Otway Lighthouse, the furthest southerly point on the Trans-Australia Expedition.

South to Antarctica and Terra Incognita!

One objective of the mission was achieved.
